Inconel 718 alloy is a kind of precipitated hardening nickel-chromium-ferro alloy containing niobium and molybdenum. Inconel 718 alloy should have high strength, good toughness, and no matter under the environment with high(below 650℃） or low temperature, Inconel 718 alloy can have good performance in corrosion and oxidation resistance to maintain alloy material’s strength of gas turbine and jet engines when operated in atmospheres.

Conditions for Inconel 718 Alloy: Solid Solution Treatment or Precipitation Hardening State.

Characteristics for Inconel 718 Alloy:

1. Good Processibility;

2. High Tensile Strength, Fatigue Strength, Creep Strength and Fracture Strength at 700℃;

3. High Oxidation Resistance at 1000℃;

4. Stable Chemical Property if at Low Temperature;

5. Good Performance in Welding Process.

Application for Inconel 718 Alloy:

With above properties, Inconel 718 Alloy can be widely used in the fields of Turbine, Liquid Fuel Rocket, Low Temperature Project, Acidic Environment and Nuclear Engineering field, etc.
