Monel K-500 alloy has similar corrosion resistance with Monel 400 alloy, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. In the environment with temperature under 480℃, Monel K-500 alloy can be with the properties of good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and long-term structure stability.

Different Names for Monel K-500 Alloy: UNS N05500, W.Nr 2.4375.

Application:

Monel K-500 alloy is mainly used in manufacture of turbine blades and gas turbine blades on aero-engines whose working temperature is below 750℃. Also can be used in manufacture of fasteners and springs on ships, Pump and valve parts on chemical equipment, Scraping blades on papermaking equipment, etc.

Monel K-500 alloy is a kind of non-magnetic alloy. When be welded, Monel K-500 alloy should be taken annealed treatment and after the welding process stress relieved action need to be performed before aging condition.
